Universal Briefing (UB) is a voluntary non-profit making non-governmental platform with principle focus on "Library & Information Services"; it will try to inculcate professional expertise among young professionals, develop tools and techniques to expedite the professional skills among budding generations, disseminate new knowledge through research activities, try to foster information handling skill among students, to build an atmosphere of togetherness and fraternity within society and finally advocates its belief in open education, open science and openness of knowledge.

Universal Briefing (UB) is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental platform dedicated to Library & Information Services, research activities, professional development, and promoting open education. This Refund & Donation Policy explains the terms governing contributions made to UB through our website or authorized channels.

2. Nature of Donations

Donations made to Universal Briefing support our various initiatives, including:

Promoting Library & Information Services
Professional development and capacity-building programs
Research and documentation projects
Creation of open educational resources
Skill-building and community engagement initiatives

All donations are used exclusively for non-profit purposes aligned with UB's mission.

3. No Refund Policy

All donations to Universal Briefing (UB) are final and non-refundable. Donations are immediately allocated to ongoing non-profit programs, and therefore cannot be reversed once processed.

4. Incorrect or Duplicate Donation

If you believe you made a duplicate payment or encountered a technical error, you may submit a review request within 48 hours of the transaction.

Proof of payment (screenshot/bank reference)

UB reserves the right to verify and decide on exceptions. Refund approval is not guaranteed.

5. Tax Exemption (If Applicable)

If Universal Briefing qualifies for tax exemption benefits (such as 80G under Income Tax Act, India), official receipts will be issued containing:

Donor name
Donation amount
Date and time
Unique receipt number

6. Donor Privacy

UB is committed to protecting donor information. We do not sell, trade, or publicly disclose donor information without consent.

7. Payment Security

All online donations are processed securely through certified payment gateways. UB does not store any credit card, debit card, or banking information.
